The first step is to obtain a weather API key.

  2. Return to the inbox and click Edit on the inbox panel.
  3. Select Weather from the New Widget drop-down list.
  4. Enter a Width. This can be a percentage or the number of pixels.

  1. Click Add.

  1. Enter your city's name in the search.
  2. Click Search.

  1. Click the city name. The browser URL will be similar to http://openweathermap.org/city/5784731. The city ID is the number at the end of the URL. Copy that ID.
  2. Click Edit on the weather widget.
  3. Enter the city ID. You can click Look up city id to return to http://www.openweathermap.org if needed.
  4. Enter a Header, if desired, and select either C (Celsius) or F (Fahrenheit).
  5. Click Update.
