Associate Material to Assets or Tasks

Material can be added to an asset or task to add more detail to the record.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Set up material in Designer.
  1. Open the work order.
  2. Click Material from the functions drop-down list.

  1. Select the Assets or Tasks option in the Material/Entity/Task panel.

  1. Select the assets or tasks to associate to the material.
  2. Search for the desired material.
  3. Select the material.
  4. If the Assets option is selected, click Highlight Selected Assets to mark the assets on the map.
  5. Enter the Date, Account, and Units in the Details panel.

  1. Click Add. This adds the material to the Material panel.
  2. If a contractor is providing the material, select the appropriate contractor from the Contractor Material panel.
  3. Enter contractor material details.
  4. Click Add.
