Remove a PLL Task
IMPORTANT: Cityworks strongly recommends that you do not delete a task if it has been used on a case template because it deletes the link in the Cityworks database and leaves orphaned task data. Instead, mark the task as Expired to preserve the historical data associated with the task.
- From the home page, click PLL and click Task Setup.
- Select the check box next to the appropriate task on the Tasks panel.
- Select the Expired check box on the Details panel to make the task unavailable to users. This allows you to deactivate the task so it cannot be added to a case template, but it can still be used as a search parameter and is still listed with historical data.
If no historical data is associated with the task, delete it from the Tasks panel.
- Select the desired task and click Delete selected records.
- Click Delete on the Delete Selected Tasks panel.
