Admin 3.1 Guide Introduction

Admin is used by administrators to configure and customize Cityworks for your organization. Admin can be used with the Cityworks platform or Trimble Unity AMS.

There are two administrative roles generally associated with Admin:

  • The Cityworks database administrator establishes and maintains the Cityworks database structure.
  • The Cityworks domain administrator oversees Cityworks, including configuring Cityworks.

Changes made in Designer are reflected in Admin, and changes made in Admin are reflected in Designer. New pages in Admin are not created in Designer going forward, and not all Designer pages are currently available in Admin.

NOTE: All images were taken on a Google Chrome browser using the Light theme, and all steps, fields, and images are based on the latest version of Cityworks. There may be slight differences (i.e., functionality, fields, color branding, etc.) depending on other browsers and themes used and the current version of Cityworks you have installed.
