Remove a Contractor Employee

A contractor employee record may need to be removed.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Contractor security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

IMPORTANT: While it is possible to delete a contractor employee record, we strongly discourage you from doing so. Deleting a contractor employee record will cause errors for any users associated to that record.

  1. From the home page, click PLL and click Contractor Setup.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. On the Contractor panel, select the contractor that is associated with the employee you want to deactivate.
  1. On the Employees panel, select the employee you want to deactivate.
  2. Turn off the Active switch to deactivate the employee.

If a contractor employee record has not been associated with one or more cases, you can delete it by following these steps:

  1. On the Contractor panel, select the contractor that is associated with the employee you want to delete.
  1. On the Employees panel, select the employee you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete selected records on the Employees panel.


  1. Click Delete on the Delete Employee panel.
