Word Email and Print Templates

Email templates and print templates are included with your Cityworks site and act as either an attachment, or the body of an email when attached to an Email Template, or the body of a print template when printing is set up for work orders, service requests, and inspections. You may modify the default templates to match your specifications.

NOTE: It is a best practice to modify a copy of the template in order to preserve the original file.

The following list of Word (.docx) templates are included with your site:

• Insp
• InspAllFields
• InspCaller
• InspInternal
• Permit
• PW
• PWAllFields
• SR
• SRAllFields
• SRCaller
• SRInternal
• WOCaller
• WOInternal

If a .docx file is entered into the Report Template Filename field on the Template Details tab, the template displays as the body of the email.

NOTE: The docx folder must be manually created or moved to the wwwroot folder when upgrading to 23.x in order for emails to work.
