Asset Groups Fields
The following fields display on the Asset Field Configuration panel:
- Asset Type: The asset type. You can change this by clicking Change.
- Description: The asset's description.
- Condition Date Field: Select the type of date. When this field is populated, the most recent date related to the condition score is written to the geodatabase. The latest condition date is displayed in the Results panel on the map.
- Condition Score Field: Select an attribute to store in the geodatabase for further analysis. When this field is populated, the most recent condition score is written to the geodatabase. The latest condition score is displayed in the Results panel on the map.
NOTE: Both the Condition Date Field and the Condition Score Field must be configured for the condition score from the inspection to write to the GIS attributes.
- Entity Uid Field: Select the field to be used as the Entity UID for this asset. This allows GIS data to be linked from the Cityworks database to the geodatabase.
- Display Field: Select the field to be used as the display field.
The Primary Image Field and Default Image Directory fields are used together. Cityworks concatenates the two and if there is a file with that name in that directory, the user is able to view the image.
- Primary Image Field: Select the attribute field you want to use for images. Note that the value in this attribute field must match the name of the image exactly, including the file extension (for example, image.jpg).
- Default Image Directory: Enter the file path for the folder where attachments or images are stored. For more information on attachments, see 10630: Configuring Server Attachments on MyCityworks.
NOTE: The attributes set as the Entity Uid Field and Display Field are always visible and the Visible check box cannot be cleared under Asset Form Configuration.
- Facility ID Field: Select the field to be used as the Facility ID for this asset. This defines what building the asset is located in.
- Level ID Field: Select the field to be used as the Level ID field for this asset. This defines what floor level the asset is located on.
