Notification Type Fields

The following fields are found on the Notification Types page.

NOTE: Some fields have visible character max limits. The first number is the current count of how many characters have been used. The second number is the max characters allowed in the field.

• Code: This is a 10-character identifier assigned by PLL administrators and used to differentiate the notification type from others in lists, selections, and drop-down boxes. This field cannot be changed once the notification type has been saved.
• Notification Description: This is a more detailed explanation of the notification type and may include any information the PLL administrator deems necessary.
• Category: This field defines or selects the kind of notification that will be used. The options are Active Report, Email, In-App, and SMS.
• Email Subject Line: This field allows administrators to enter default text for the subject line of the Email notification type.
• Insert Value: This drop-down list defines the scope of the notification, and inserts placeholders into the message field where administrators can enter the full text of the notification.
