Configure Inspection Preferences

The Inspection tab contains preferences related to inspections.

  1. From the General tab or home page, click Preferences.
  2. Click the Inspection tab.
  3. In the Default Inspection Status - New field, select the default status for new inspections.
  4. Add Print Templates that can be assigned to an inspection. See Add Print Templates for an Inspection for more information.
  1. Add Resolution Values that can be assigned to an inspection. See Add Resolution Values to an Inspection for more information.
  1. Add Status Values that can be assigned to an inspection. See Add Status Values for an Inspection for more information.

IMPORTANT: The values Cancel and Closed must not be deleted, but the description can be changed.

  1. Select Use CCTV Codes to use the CCTV Interface in Cityworks Utilities 2.1 for PACP. The default is not selected. See Add or Edit CCTV Codes for more information.
  2. Select Use Radio Buttons in Custom Inspection Observations to use radio buttons instead of drop-down lists in branch and linear observations on a custom inspection. The default is not selected.
  1. Add TV Observation Codes for TV inspection observations. This field lists the code/description scores for TV inspection observations.

NOTE: TV Observation Codes only appear if Use CCTV Codes is unchecked.

NOTE: Designer automatically saves the changes you make. A notification will appear in the top-right corner of the window that says Data Saved when you make changes to the page.
