Contracts

Contracts are used to track all work contracted out by your organization to another entity and the details of that work, such as estimated costs, design, bid process, etc. Contracts can have an established budget and pay costs by line items associated to work order. For the Contracts tab to appear in Designer, you must be licensed for it under General > Licensing. This section is made up of the following sections:

• Add or Edit a Line Item
• Remove a Line Item
• Configure Line Item Hierarchy

NOTE: In Contracts, there are fields hidden by default in the Contractor Information panel. You can reveal these fields by making a copy of the DesignerContractorBase.xml file and changing each field to visible="true".
