Remove a Service Request Template
IMPORTANT: Cityworks strongly recommends that you do not delete a template if there are any records associated with it. Instead, make the template inactive to preserve the historical data associated with the template.
- From the Service Requests tab, click Templates, or click Service Request Templates from the home page.
- Select the desired template from the Templates panel.
- Clear the Is Active check box on the General tab of the Details panel to make the template unavailable to users. The service request history remains in the database, though, and can still be included in searches if the Include Inactive Templates and Tasks in Searches preferences is selected on the General tab under Preferences.
If no historical data is associated with the template, delete it from the Templates panel.
- Select the desired template and click Delete.
- Click Delete on the Delete Service Request Templates panel.
