Introduction

Designer is used by administrators to configure and customize Cityworks for your organization. There are two administrative roles generally associated with Designer:

• The Cityworks database administrator establishes and maintains the Cityworks database structure.
• The Cityworks domain administrator oversees Cityworks, including configuring Cityworks.

As of Cityworks 2014, Designer is web-based and built into Office/Tablet 15.5 for AMS and PLL. If you are new to web-based Designer, please see 11677: Migrating from Designer 2013 and Older to 2014 and Newer on MyCityworks for more information.

NOTE: All images were taken on a Google Chrome browser. While there may be slight differences using other browsers, functionality is the same.

NOTE: Designer can be added to the main toolbar under the Site Menu.
