Test Email Settings
You can send a test email to ensure that your email configuration works.
- From either the home page or General tab, click Preferences.
- On the General tab, find the Email section.
NOTE: Whether or not you're using authentication, you must have something entered into the User and Password fields in Cityworks 15.6 and 15.6.1. This is not a requirement in Cityworks 15.6.2 and newer. See Configure Email Settings for more information.
- Next to Test Email, click Send.
- Enter the address that you want to send the email to in the Send To field.
- Click Send.
If there is a problem with your settings, an error message will appear.
