Designer for 15.7 Guide Introduction

Designer is used by administrators to configure and customize Cityworks for your organization. There are two administrative roles generally associated with Designer:

• The Cityworks database administrator establishes and maintains the Cityworks database structure.
• The Cityworks domain administrator oversees Cityworks, including configuring Cityworks.

As of Cityworks 2014, Designer is web-based and built into Office/Tablet 15.7 for AMS and PLL.

Changes made in Designer will be reflected in Admin, and changes made in Admin will be reflected in Designer. New pages in Admin will not be created in Designer going forward, and not all Designer pages are currently available in Admin.

NOTE: All images were taken on a Google Chrome browser. While there may be slight differences using other browsers, functionality is the same.

NOTE: Designer can be added to the main toolbar under the Site Menu.
