Service Requests

A service request is a request for service initiated through a contact to the organization, generally a citizen's call, describing some type of problem (usually at a specific location) and the action taken to remedy the situation. For example, if a pipe burst and is flooding the area, a citizen would call to notify the organization and to request immediate action. The service request tracks the action from initial contact, to dispatch and investigate, and then to the resulting recommendation and conclusion.

In Designer you can create and clone service request templates, add branch or linear questions, map layers fields, and work order templates to a template, create custom fields to add to a template, add predefined comments to a template, configure template security, select audit fields to be tracked on a service request, and configure all other things necessary to setting up services requests for your site.
