Create a Saved Search

Saved searches allow you to not only save commonly used search criteria for future use, but they are also the first step in being able to share maps with others. This topic will cover how to create and view saved searches. See Share a Saved Search for details on how you can share the saved search data outside of Cityworks.

  1. Enter your search criteria in the Calculation Search panel. For an explanation of the fields, see Calculation Search Fields.
  2. Click Save Search As.
  3. Enter a Name and Description for this saved search.
  4. Select whether this saved search should be Shared Within the Domain, Group, or User.

  1. Click Save.
  2. To view a list of existing saved searches, click Open.

Existing saved searches are shown in the Saved Search Definitions panel.

  1. Select a search and click Open to view the search criteria. You can also Share a Saved Search or Display Saved Search on the Map.
