Add a License Type

This section will discuss how to set up a new business license type.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Case License Type security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

To add a new business license type to Cityworks PLL, follow these steps:

  1. Open PLL Admin.
  2. On the PLL Admin page, click Additional Template Items on the PLL Admin menu panel and select Business License Types.

  1. On the Business License Type panel, click Add record at the top of the panel.

NOTE: Search or filter the records on this panel to quickly find the one(s) you want. See Search and Filter Records for more information.

  1. On the Add: Business License Type panel, enter a 10-character (maximum) code in the License Type field and a brief explanation in the Description field.

  1. Click Save.
