Template Map Logic

Template map logic allows administrators to define whether or not a case can be created in a specific area. For example, administrators can prevent cases from being created outside city limits or restrict the kinds of cases that can be created in historical areas, flood zones, residential areas, near schools, etc.

The template map logic functionality works in Office, Public Access, and Respond, and in order for it to work the case must have an address. The template map logic is checked when the case is created, when the case X and Y coordinates are changed, and when an address is added or removed. In Office, it will work with skip intake, but an address must be entered before the user creates the case. In Respond, the template map logic is checked once an address is added after the case is created.
