Edit a Task Map Layer

Existing task map layers may be updated or changed at any time.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Task Map Logic security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  • You must have at least one task set up in the database. See Task Setup for more information.
  • You must have at least one map layer configured. See Configure Assets in the Designer for 15.8 Guide for more information.
  • Users that will be automatically assigned tasks by a task map layer must be assigned to the related map layer data (the UserID number and Username must be included). See your GIS administrator for assistance.

To edit an existing task map layer, follow these steps:

  1. Click Tasks & Inspections on the PLL Admin menu panel and select Task Map Layers.

  1. On the Saved Condition panel, click Edit the Condition next to the condition you want to change.

  1. The condition's information loads in the Assigned Action panel, you can delete any actions currently assigned to the condition. See Add a Task Map Layer for more information.
