Edit a Task Notification

Existing task notifications may be updated or changed at any time without having to create new task notifications to replace them. The following steps will walk you through the process of editing an existing task notification.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Task Notification Setup security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  • You must have a code for a task that is setup in PLL. See Task Setup for more information.
  • You must have the appropriate notification type configured. See Notification Types for more information.
  • You must have at least on people role in the system. See People Roles for more information.
  • You must have at least on contractor type in the system. See Contractor Types for more information.
  • You must have a result code. See Task Results and Task Result Sets for more information.

To edit an existing task notification, follow these steps:

  1. Click Notifications on the PLL Admin menu panel and select Case Notifications.

  1. On the Task Notification panel, click Edit record next to the task notification you want to edit.

  1. When the Edit: Task Event Notification panel opens, make any changes you desire. See Add a Task Notification for more information.

  1. Click Save.
