Tender Type Fields
This section covers all the fields contained in the Add: Tender Type and Edit: Tender Type panels.
NOTE: The Edit: Tender Type panel contains all the items displayed on the Add: Tender Type panel as well as a few additional items. Therefore, only the Edit: Tender Type panel is displayed and explained here.
- Tender Type ID: This is a numeric identifier that is automatically assigned to the tender type after it is saved. This field cannot be changed.
- Tender Type: This is a 10-character identifier created by the administrator. This code appears in lists and drop-down lists and allows users to distinguish one tender type from another. This field cannot be changed once the tender type has been saved.
- Description: This is a brief explanation of the project. Descriptions are often just a more detailed version of the project code, but administrators may include more exact information if they desire.
- Account Code: This designates which account in the jurisdiction’s financial system in which the tender type will initially be processed. This field is optional, based on the financial system in use.
- Custom Table Name: This field identifies any custom tables associated with the tender type. See Use the Custom Data Builder for more information.
- Over Payment: This check box indicates that overpayment is permitted on this tender type. Overpayments may be made in anticipation of future fees to reduce the amount due later.
- Anonymous: This field is no longer active.
- Registered: Select this check box to indicate the item will be available to Public Access users after they have logged in to the system.
- Expired: This check box, visible only on the Edit: Tender Type panel, allows administrators to mark a tender type as expired. The corresponding check box on the main Tender Type panel will automatically be selected as well.
