Zip Codes
Zip codes are five-digit designations supplied by the U.S. Postal Service, based on population density. Select Zip Codes from the Land Setup menu to display a list of all the zip codes currently defined in the system. From this list, administrators have the option to add a new zip code or delete existing codes.
NOTE: It is a best practice never to delete a zip code.
Add and Edit Zip Codes
- Click the Add record button at the top right corner of the panel to create a new use type.
- Click the Edit record button next to the name of an existing type to view or edit the current information for that use.
- Zip: Enter the five-digit code provided by the USPS. This box cannot be changed once the zip code has been saved.
- City: Enter the name of the city for the zip code.
- State: Click the Lookup icon to open a selection window. Select the appropriate state name and click Submit.
- Country Code: Click the Lookup icon to open a selection window. Select the appropriate country name and click Submit.
