Respond 4.3 Guide Introduction

Cityworks Respond focuses on Office-based functionality in a mobile setting, such as on a tablet at a job site. Mobile devices typically have smaller screens. Therefore, Respond pages display in a column or multiple columns as browser space allows. Respond can be used with the Cityworks platform or Trimble Unity AMS.

NOTE: Trimble Unity AMS is powered by Cityworks so some links in this guide point to the Cityworks documentation.

Respond requires a constant network connection and has the ability to maintain continuous, real-time updates, a more advanced map interface with greater functionality, and the option to create and manage aspects of Cityworks from a remote location. See the Product Compatibility Matrix: Platform Feature Comparison document to compare features and functionality between the native apps, Respond, and Office/Tablet.

NOTE: All images were taken on a Google Chrome browser using the Light theme. While there may be slight differences using other browsers or themes, functionality is the same.
