Add a Map Widget

The map widget displays query results on a map.

PREREQUISITES:

  1. Tap Dashboard.
  2. Tap Page actions in the activity toolbar and tap Dashboard Management.

NOTE: The 10 most-recently-viewed dashboards display. To quickly switch between recently-viewed dashboards, see Switch Between Dashboards for more information.

The Dashboard Management page opens.

  1. Tap the edit icon in the Dashboards panel.
  2. On the Dashboard - Edit page, tap the add icon.

The Add Widget panel opens.

NOTE: A preview appears to the right on the Add Widget panel that dynamically changes as you define fields for the widget.

  1. Enter the Name.
  2. Select a service definition from the GIS Definition Id drop-down list if you want the map widget to use a different service than the main map.
  3. Select the Query.
  4. Select Additional eURL(s) to display in the map along with the Query layer.
  5. Select the Name Color and Background Color.
  6. Select an action. For example, select Open WO(s) to allow work orders to be opened from the value displayed.

  1. Tap Save.
