Enable Queries for the Mobile Inbox

Queries can be enabled for the mobile apps. While the Mobile switch appears next to all query types, it can only be enabled for case object, case task, custom inspection, service request, and work order query types. Once a query is enabled, it can be shared to a domain's or group's mobile inbox by the owner of the query in Admin. See Mobile Manager in the Admin 3.6 Guide for more information.

PREREQUISITES:

  • You must be the owner of the query to enable the Mobile switch.
  1. Tap the Query Management tab.
  2. The query results can be filtered in the following ways:
  • Permission Type: User, Group, or Domain. Then you can select a user, group, or domain based on the selection.
  • Show Only Mine: shows only the queries the users is listed as the Owner.
  • Trimble Unity, GIS Feature, or GIS Object: the Query Type drop-down list populates based on the selection.
  • Filter records: filter by the query name. See Filter Records for more information.
  1. Tap the Mobile switch next to the query you want to appear in your inbox.

If you are the owner of the query and have enabled it for mobile in Respond, it is automatically assigned to be visible in your mobile inbox in Admin.
