Issue Transaction Fields

The following fields display on the Issue panel:

  • Account: Select the account number. Account is set up for billing to group costs for material transactions and is customized by the organization. This is typically a number or description of the type of work. This is populated in Designer under Preferences > Custom Codes > ACCOUNT.
  • Transaction Date: Double-click in the field to enter the current date and time or use the calendar icon to select the date and time of the transaction. If the Transaction Date is left empty, the current date and time are recorded.
  • Employee: Select an employee to issue the material to.

NOTE: Additional employees must be added in Designer. See Employees in the Designer for 15.2 Guide for more information.

  • Work Order Id: If the work order ID is known, enter it here. Or use the binoculars icon to find the work order.
  • Asset: Select an asset attached to the work order to associate the material cost to.

IMPORTANT: For asset-based, both the Work Order Id and Asset are required. Select from the drop-down list of available assets attached to the work order.

  • Task: Select a task related to the work order to associate the material cost to.
  • Comments: Enter any comments regarding the material.
  • Quantity: Enter the Quantity of the material to issue, or use the up and down arrows to select a quantity.
