Switch Customization Profiles

You can switch between customized profiles that have been created in Style and defined in Admin. Please note when multiple profiles are defined to an employee and that employee uses different browsers (i.e., Chrome and Firefox), profile selection is stored locally based on the browser being used. For example, if one profile is selected in Chrome and then Firefox is used, the profile selected in Chrome is not automatically selected when using Firefox; instead, the default profile is automatically selected.

PREREQUISITES:

  • A profile must be created in Cityworks Style. See Create a Profile in the Style 2.0 Guide for more information.
  • More than one profile must be defined for the employee in Admin for the Profile drop-down list to appear. See Define a Profile in the Admin 3.2 Guide for more information.
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap the Profile drop-down list.

A description appears next to the profile name in the Profile drop-down list if a description was added to the profile in Style. See Add a Profile Description in the Style 2.0 Guide for more information.
