Edit a Query

You can edit an existing query that you created.

NOTE: If an asset type has been reassigned in Admin, you may need to clear the cache to see the updated change for GIS queries. See Clear Cached Data for more information.

  1. Tap Search and tap Advanced Search.

  1. Select an existing query from the Saved Queries section. Enter the query name in the Filter field to filter the list or select My Queries Only to filter the list based on queries you own.

The middle column populates with the query.

Use the Query Builder or tap Show Query to use the advanced Query option.

  1. Add or update information in the query.

NOTE: If a query returns a lot of results and slows down the page, turn off the Automatically Execute option to edit a query without waiting for the results to populate in the panel on the right.

  1. Tap Save Query at the bottom of the page.

You can edit an existing query that you own or have Edit permissions for. If you edit a query that you only have View permissions for, it only creates a copy of the query.
