Create a Related Work Order
You can create a work order related to the inspection that you are viewing. The process varies slightly depending on whether or not the parent inspection has associated assets.
- Select an inspection from the list.
The inspection details open.
If the Inspection Has Associated Assets
- Click Create Related Work Order on the Associated Assets tab. You can also click Add on the Related Work Orders tab.
- Select the work order type. This is also known as the work order template.
The work order shows once it is created. Some fields are automatically populated based on the selected work order template.
- Enter any work order information and click Save.
If the Inspection Doesn't Have Associated Assets
- Click Related Work Orders.
Any related work orders show.
- Click Add.
- Select the asset group.
- Select the asset type.
- Select the work order type. This is also known as the work order template.
The work order shows once it is created. Some fields are automatically populated based on the selected work order template.
- Enter any work order information and click Save.
