Edit a Service Request

A service request can be changed once it has been created.

  1. Open the desired service request(s). See Open a Service Request for more information.
  2. Select Apply To All if you are working with more than one service request.

  1. Make the desired changes. If you want to change the Description, double-click on it and click Yes in the window that appears, then select the new description.

NOTE: If you are using a mobile device, the Description cannot be updated by double-clicking it. Please update the Description using Office or Tablet on a desktop device.

  1. Click Save.

If there are any field validations set up for the service request, either an error or warning message appears when you try to update the service request if the field requirements have not been met. See Field Validation in the Admin 3.0 Guide for more information. Note that this version of the app is only compatible with Cityworks 23 and newer and needs to be accessed from the Cityworks 23 site.
