Remove a Case Template

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Business Case security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

IMPORTANT: While it is possible to delete a case template, we strongly discourage you from doing so. Deleting a case template will cause errors in any cases based on that template.

  1. From the home page, click PLL and click Case Templates.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. On the Template Details panel, select the case template you want to deactivate then turn off the Active switch.

If no cases have been created based on a template, for example if the template was configured incorrectly, you can remove it by following these steps:

  1. On the Case Templates panel, select the case template you want to remove then click Delete selected records.

  1. Click Delete on the Delete Case Template panel.
