Add Asset Type Change Out Fields

There are two tabs on the Equipment Change Out page, Global and Asset Types. The Asset Types tab is used to add and customize change out fields for individual asset types on the Equipment Change Out page in Respond. This can be used to pull in additional information pertaining to the asset type that might be useful during the change out.

If you want to configure fields that apply to all asset types, see Add or Edit Global Configuration Fields for more information.

PREREQUISITES:

  • A relationship class needs to be defined in the geodatabase between the parent asset and the child asset.
  • The parent asset needs to have a relationship defined for the child asset on the Asset Groups page. See Configure Assets for more information.
  • The child asset relationship needs to be stored in Cityworks through an SOE service or a feature service. Either an SOE service or a feature service must be defined for the asset under Service Layers. See Configure Service Layers for more information.
  1. From the home page, click Admin and click Equipment Change Out.
  2. Click the Asset Types tab.
