Search for Assets

You can search for assets by the asset type, UID, or the entity identifier. You can enter the information manually that is tied to the entity identifier.

You can search for specific assets by asset group, type, and UID.

  1. Open the project or contract. See Open Contract Details or Open Project Details for more information.

NOTE: You can search for an asset on a project or a contract. While there may be slight differences on the panels, the functionality is the same. The Contract Assets Details panel is on the Contract Line Items page. The Assets Details panel is on the Project Details page.

  1. Click Lookup Assets.

  1. Select the Asset Group and Asset Type.
  2. Select either Feature or Object as needed.
  3. Enter the asset's UID in the Asset Uids field.

TIP: If you're looking for more than one ID, make sure to use a comma to separate IDs.

  1. Click Verify UIDs to find the assets with the matching IDs.

  1. After the Asset Uids field populates with the ID numbers, click Select.

Users can enter the entity identifier manually to populate and select assets.

  1. Open the project or contract. See Open Contract Details or Open Project Details for more information.

  1. Click Lookup Assets.

  1. Click Lookup.

You can enter an asset's entity identifier manually and find the matching asset.

  1. Enter the asset's entity identifier in the Search Asset field.
  2. Click Lookup to find the asset with the matching identifier.

  1. Once you have found the assets, click Select.

Any assets added to the table appear on the panel.
