Link to Existing Cases
Related cases can be linked together. Link existing PLL cases to the current case or permit from the Main panel of the Summary page.
- From the Main panel,

The Link to Case Number search form opens. This form includes different search options to help you find the case(s) you want to link.
- Enter data into the appropriate fields, and
Any matching cases will appear below the search fields.
- Select the check box next to the case(s), and
The linked case's ID, description, type, and status will appear at the bottom of the Main panel of the case. There is also a P or C to the right of the linked case. The P identifies the related case as the Parent case, and the C identifies the related case as a Child case.
NOTE: If the case information doesn't appear, you can use the Show related objects: Cases, Workorders, Requests icon. For more information, see View Related Objects.
