Edit a Flag

Existing flags may be updated or changed at any time without having to create new flags to replace them.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Flags security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  • You need at least one case type. See Case Types for more information.
  • You need at least one condition. See Conditions for more information.
  • You must have users set up in PLL. See Users for more information.

To edit a flag, follow these steps:

  1. Click Additional Template Items on the PLL Admin menu and select Flags.

  1. On the Flags panel, click Edit Record next to the flag you want to edit.

NOTE: Search or filter the records on this panel to quickly find the one(s) you want. See Search and Filter Records for more information.

  1. When the Edit: Flags panel opens, make any changes you desire. See Add Flags for more information.

NOTE: The Edit: Flags panel contains the same information as the Add: Flags panel, with the addition of the Expired check box.

NOTE: The Custom Table Name field is available if you wish to include custom data in this flag. See Use the Custom Data Builder for more information.

  1. Click Save.
