Schedule an Inspection

Inspections may only be scheduled when the corresponding task becomes available in the workflow and when the case status for the case is configured to allow inspections to be scheduled.

PREREQUISITES:

  • A task type of Inspection needs to be available. See Complete a Task to mark tasks as complete and make the next tasks available.
  • A case's status may need to be a specific status in order to schedule inspections. Ask your administrator if a case must have a specific status in order to schedule inspections. If you have administrator rights, see Configure Required Items on a Case Template in the PLL 15.6 Admin Guide for more information.
  1. Open a case.
  2. Select the task you want to schedule an inspection for.

The more options icon appears next to View Graph.

  1. Tap the more options icon and tap Schedule Inspection.

The Inspection Scheduling panel opens.

  1. Enter information about the person requesting the inspection, such as their name, phone number, and details about the location where the inspection will take place.
  2. Select the date and time the inspection should start and end and, if needed, who is Assigned To the inspection.
  3. Tap Save.

The inspection is scheduled and appears in the Inspection Request panel. See Inspection Request Panel for more information.
