You can search tasks on a case directly from the Workflow panel on the case summary page.

1. Open a case.
2. Tap Filter records.

3. Enter your search criteria in the text entry field.

4. Tap Filter Task to filter tasks by the type of task, if it's available or completed, or tasks assigned to the user who is currently logged in. See Filter Tasks for more information.

You can search tasks on a case directly from the Workflow page.

1. Open a case.
2. From the activity toolbar, tap Workflow.

The Workflow page opens and any tasks associated to the case appear.

3. Tap Filter records to quickly filter the list of fields in the panel.
4. Enter your search criteria in the text entry field.

5. Tap Filter Task to filter tasks by the type of task, if it's available or completed, or tasks assigned to the user who is currently logged in. See Filter Tasks for more information.

Task Manager can be used to find an existing case or a group of cases by identifying a specific task and updating information on the task.

1. The Login Id automatically populates with the user's login, but can be changed by tapping a different ID from the drop-down list.

TIP: You can also clear the Login Id to search for tasks based on the Date Range.

2. Select the calendar icon. A panel opens and defaults to today's date, but can be changed.

• Today: This shows any tasks with a target start date of the current date.
• This week: This shows any tasks with a target start date of the last day of the current week.
• This Month: This shows any tasks with a target start date of the last day of the current month.
• This Year: This shows any tasks with a target start date of the last day of the current year.
• Use the calendar icon next to the Date Start and Date End fields to select a custom time period. This shows any tasks with a target start date within the selected date range.

3. Tap Apply.

The search results automatically update based on the criteria entered. See Task Manager Fields for an explanation of the Task Manager panel fields.

The Task Utility tool can be used to find an existing case or a group of cases by identifying associated tasks and updating tasks.

PREREQUISITES: Users must have the Task Utility permission selected under Case User in Admin. See Security Roles in the Admin 3.4 Guide for more information. The first time you install Respond, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Asset Details, License Management tool, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.

1. Open the Task Utility tool.

2. Enter search criteria, such as the case number or case type, in the corresponding fields.
3. Tap Search.

Results matching your search criteria appear below the search form.

From here you can remove tasks, time accounting data, and comments, as well as reopen tasks on a case. See Task Utility Tool for more information.
