Add a Widget

You can add a widget to a dashboard.

PREREQUISITES: You must either add a dashboard or edit a dashboard. See Add a Dashboard or Edit a Dashboard for more information. A query must be built. See Add a Query for more information.

1. Tap Dashboard.
2. Tap Dashboard Actions in the activity toolbar and tap Manage Dashboards.

NOTE: The most-recently-viewed dashboards display. To quickly switch between recently-viewed dashboards, see Switch Between Dashboards for more information.

The Dashboard Management page opens.

3. Tap the edit icon in the Dashboards panel.
4. On the Dashboard - Edit page, tap the add icon.

The Add Widget panel opens.

5. Select a widget.
6. Enter a Name for the widget.
7. Select and enter any other information as desired. A preview appears to the right on the Add Widget panel that dynamically changes as you define fields for the widget.

NOTE: If the Count or Chart widget is selected, you can select Numeric, Currency, or Percent for the Numeric Type.

8. Tap Save.

NOTE: Changes made to the dashboard save automatically.
