Create a Related Work Order

Use the Create a Related Workorder icon to create a work order in Office for AMS. The asset type and work order template are automatically selected based on the asset attached to the permit, but can be changed if desired.

PREREQUISITES:

  1. From the Main panel, click the Create a Related Workorder icon.

The Select Template panel in Office for AMS opens. For more information, see Create an Attached Work Order in the Office/Tablet 15.3 for AMS Guide.

  1. Once a work order has been created, scroll to the Related Work Activities panel.
  1. Click the Id of the case in the Permits section to return to the case.

The work order ID, description, and status will appear at the bottom of the Main panel of the case.

NOTE: If the work order information doesn't appear, you can use the Show related objects: Cases, Workorders, Requests icon. For more information, see View Related Objects.
