Delete Time Accounting

You can remove time accounting information on a task from the Edit Task panel on the Summary page, from Task Manager, or from the Task Utility tool.

  1. From the Workflow panel, select Edit record by the desired task.
  2. Scroll to the Time Accounting section at the bottom of the Edit Task panel and click Delete record.

NOTE: You can also add and remove attachments and comments associated to the task. For more information, see Use Attachments on a Task and Use Comments on a Task.

The panel refreshes and the record is removed.

  1. Perform a search in Task Manager. For more information on performing a search, see Search Tasks Using Task Manager.
  1. Click the task you want to add time accounting information to.

  1. Click Time Accounting at the bottom of the panel.

Any time accounting information on the task displays.

  1. Click the X to remove the time accounting record.

The panel refreshes and the record is removed.

Use the Task Utility tool to access tasks found in the Workflow panel. This search panel can be used to find an existing case or a group of cases with tasks on them to remove time accounting.

NOTE: This page can be accessed by adding a custom URL to your site menu in Designer. In the URL field, enter CWPermit/UF/Case/Page/CUFTaskUtility.aspx. For more information, see the Configure the Cityworks Toolbar section in the Designer for 15.4 Guide.

  1. Open the Task Utility tool.

  1. Enter search criteria, such as the case number or case type, in the corresponding fields.
  2. Click Search.

Results matching your search criteria displays below the search form.

  1. Click the link for one of the cases, and the tasks display below.
  1. Select the desired task(s).
  2. Select Delete Time Account Data.

  1. Click Submit to remove time accounting data from the selected task(s).
