Use the login page to access Cityworks apps, such as Respond or scan a QR code to download the mobile apps. If you are an administrator, you can manage connection strings as well as complete limited app management. For more administrative functionality, see the topics under the Manage the Admin Plugin in the Admin 3.8 Guide for more information.

NOTE: The log in and landing pages do not currently support language translation.

  1. Enter your Username and Password. You can log in using ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS credentials if these have been set up for your site. See the Single Sign-on 23 Guide for more information.

NOTE: These fields may be hidden if your administrator has selected the Collapse Default Login preference in Admin. See Configure Global Preferences in the Admin 3.8 Guide for more information.

A link to Trimble's privacy notice and a cookie settings message have been added to the log in page. When accepted, cookie settings can help enhance site navigation and analyze site usage.

NOTE: At Trimble, we value privacy and transparency. With the release of Cityworks 23.14, there is an issue with the cookie banner. Please review the Issues Addressed in Cityworks 23.14 for more information.

  1. Tap Log In.

You are logged into the last app you viewed. For example, if you were viewing Respond when you logged out last, Respond opens. If this is your first time logging in, a landing page opens. From the landing page you can navigate to any apps you are licensed for or scan a QR code to download the mobile apps.

NOTE: If Respond is not available on the landing page, you may need to install the plugin and be assigned a license. See Install a Plugin in the Admin 3.8 Guide for more information.

  1. Tap Mobile app to scan a QR code or tap to open the app stores.
  2. Tap Apps after you have navigated to the host or plugin manager pages to return to the landing pages and the apps you are licensed for.
  3. Tap the profile icon to view Cityworks version and host information, as well as to log out.
  4. Select the Show this page when logging in check box to always open the landing page instead of opening the last app you viewed before logging out.

NOTE: Starting in Respond 5.12, the UI includes full Right-to-Left (RTL) layout support for languages that are read from right to left. See Profiles in the Style 2.0 Guide for more information on how to customize a profile for language support.
