Add or Edit a Storeroom

Storeroom Material is used to add or update storerooms and to associate materials to storerooms.

PREREQUISITES: You must be a Storeroom domain administrator, Cityworks administrator, or a domain administrator to view the Config menu and access the Storeroom Materials page. See Add a Domain Admin for more information. Alternatively, the View, Edit, or Admin permission must be applied to a group you're in to access and interact with this page. See Add or Edit a Group for more information.

1. Tap Config from the menu.
2. Tap Storeroom Material.

The Storeroom panel lists all existing storerooms. You can filter this list by tapping Filter records and entering the first few letters of the storeroom. Tap Rows to adjust the number of rows shown in the panel. The number set in this panel will persist on all other administrative pages.

3. Tap Add record to add a new storeroom.
4. Enter the Storeroom Uid, Description, and tap Create Storeroom.

If you add a storeroom, it is also associated to your current storeroom domain.

NOTE: You can also add a storeroom in Designer under Storeroom > Domains. See Create a Storeroom from Domains for more information.

5. To edit a storeroom, tap the arrow to the right of the storeroom to expand its details.

Once a storeroom is added, you must add material to the storeroom. See Add Material to a Storeroom for more information.

NOTE: Storeroom automatically saves the changes you make. A notification will appear at the bottom of the window that says Changes Saved when you make changes to the page.
