Search for a Transaction

Any issue, receive, transfer, and/or audit transaction created in Storeroom can be searched for on the Transaction Search page. Search parameters can also be used to create saved searches that can be displayed in the inbox. See Save a Search for more information.

  1. Open the menu.
  2. Tap Search and tap Transaction Search.

TIP: To view all transactions, click Search without entering any search parameters.

  1. Search all transactions by selecting material from the Material panel, or entering information in the General Transaction Fields section. To search for a specific transaction type, select material and enter information in the Issue Fields, Receive Fields, Audit Fields, or Transfer Fields panels.

NOTE: For some fields on this page, you can use the numeric search icon to define the search criteria for that field. See Search Within a Numeric Range for more information.

Before you tap Search, you can define the results list. See Configure Visible Fields for more information.

  1. Tap Search.

The search results will appear in the Transaction Search Results panel with the number of results listed on the panel. You can filter the material in the list by tapping Filter records and entering the first few letters or numbers of the material name, bin location, or part number.

You can modify the Transaction Search Results panel in one of the following ways:

  • Tap Column menu to modify the columns shown, such as if a column is included, or to change the order of the columns. Alternatively, reorder the columns by dragging and dropping them. Any changes made to the column settings are remembered.
  • Tap Rows to adjust the number of rows shown in the panel. The number set in this panel, will persist on all other search results panels.

NOTE: If there is no information that matches the search criteria entered, the Transaction Search Results panel will be blank.

  1. Tap View Attachments or View Signatures to view any attachments or signatures on a transaction.
  2. To modify the search criteria, make the desired changes, and tap Search to see the new search results.
